OPCD TO OFFER PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTING ONSITE EVERY WEDNESDAY

Today, OPCD Executive Director Tyrell Morris announces a new weekly pre-employment testing opportunity for applicants seeking employment with Orleans Parish Communication District (OPCD).
Those interested in applying for the Emergency Communications Specialist I position but are not able to take the pre-employment test at home or don’t have access to a computer, can now test at the OPCD main campus every Wednesday. Beginning this Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, from 10 AM – 6 PM, OPCD will be hosting weekly on-site pre-employment testing.
Interested candidates may arrive at OPCD between the hours of 10 AM – 6 PM and complete the pre-employment test at a designated computer station. Those who pass the test may have an opportunity to complete an interview on the same day.
Candidates can expect the pre-employment test to take approximately an hour to complete, with results and instructions on the next steps to be emailed directly via our application portal. Government-issued photo identification is required.
