It is with great pride that Orleans Parish Communication District announces the appointment of
Danielle Wilson, MCJ, to Human Resources Generalist
Danielle is a dynamic and resourceful professional, having worked in various leadership and support rolls within New Orleans city and parish government entities over the last 15 years, including the past year as Executive Assistant to the OPCD Executive Director and Chief of Staff. Danielle is a proven problem solver and project manager, and has a wide range of experience developing and managing organization-wide policies and regulations from her previous positions within the Housing Authority of New Orleans, Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office and the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission. Danielle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, and her Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Southern University at New Orleans.
In her new role as Human Resources Generalist, Danielle will conduct a variety of human resources services, include coordinating or performing activities for recruitment and selection of staff, classification, compensation and benefits administration, training of supervisory staff in labor and employee relations, and employee recognition, along with provide advice and guidance to staff on complex personnel assignments and issues.
