Operations Supervisor, Gwendolyn Douglas, promoted to Operations Manager Position
It is with great pride that Orleans Parish Communication District announces the promotion of
Gwendolyn Douglas to Operations Manager
Gwen, a 20 year public safety veteran, has proven herself at OPCD to be a team player who is focused and works diligently to serve the city of New Orleans efficiently and effectively. In her previous roles as an Operations Supervisor and Training and Compliance Supervisor, Gwen ensured the agency’s Emergency Communications Specialists were providing residents and visitors with the best quality service when dialing 911. Her ability to recognize and adjust to the ever-changing and growing emergency communications industry is what helped her become so successful at OPCD.
In her new role as Operations Manager, Gwen will oversee and manage all aspects of 911 operations during her assigned shift and coordinate with all public safety agencies in New Orleans.
