The Orleans Parish Communication District is proud to announce the appointment of Lorraine Swinton as Network Operations Manager. Lorraine is an experienced, results-driven technology professional with 15 years of experience initiating, planning and executing a wide range of programming and analytics projects within a variety of industries. During Lorraine’s most recent role as Technical Project Manager for the Dekalb County Government in Decatur, Georgia, she was assigned to manage public safety system implementations for a large-scale application portfolio, maximize efficiencies for a tier-one Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and deliver software support for Police, Fire and EMS.
In the role of Network Operations Manager for OPCD, Lorraine will be responsible for providing strategic planning, implementation, support, management and maintenance of the agency’s network and IP Telephony systems and staff. Lorraine will begin her tenure at OPCD on Monday, December 2, 2019.
