Wendy Ervin Appointed to Operations Manager Position

The Orleans Parish Communication District is excited to announce the appointment of Wendy Ervin to Operations Manager. Prior to her promotion, Wendy has over 13 years of experience in emergency communications as a Telecommunicator and Operations Supervisor.

In the role of Operations Manager, Wendy will oversee and manage all aspects of 9-1-1 operations during the squad A Days and coordinate with all public safety agencies within the City of New Orleans.  Wendy has many industry certifications from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Association of Public Safety Communication Officials, and the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch. She will begin her tenure as Operations Manager on July 28, 2019.
